Straw is an agricultural by-product, the dry stalk of a cereal plant, after the grain or seed has been removed. In times gone by, it was regarded as a useful by-product of the harvest, but with the advent of the combine harvester, straw has become more burdensome to agriculture. The only things I know that made by straw and are still used in somewhere are Scarecrow.
While back to China, people there still use straw to make lots of useful things… Like hat, bag, rope, sandals, decoration and etc., They also have “straw festival” which exhibits some interesting things made by straw. Today, I will present you with 12 amazing straw art work from China.

Can’t believe!!! the bear loos so fluffy… but it you look close to the foot part, you will find that is really done by straw… Amazing.
