The Melbourne-based artist Phil Ferguson tries to delight us with his ongoing series of crocheted headwear. He created those oversize food like pizza, avocados, bacon, and eggs into hats and cowls. Although these accessories look time consuming, Ferguson’s process is surprisingly simple and quick. One piece never takes him more than a day to make. The artist simply imagines a food, gathers the appropriately-colored yarn, and begins crocheting. Here are some of his work we like most and you can find all his work on his Instagram page.
