If you ever watched the movie Inception, you probably will have the feeling by looking at this bent coffee table which is quite similar to the scene where the power to bend dreams according to the dream architect’s will is demonstrated. Inspired by the movie, Cyprus based designer Stelios Mousarris crafted this ‘Wave City‘ coffee table that bends a landscape of buildings in half, using the overlapping surface as the tabletop. Using 3D print technology, Mousarris illustrates an urban side-walk scattered with skyscrapers that seemingly lifts into the air and finally folds back onto itself in a single, continuous curve. With the price tag of €4000.00, this coffee table is probably is one the most expensive artistic coffee table.
