Entitled Bursting Soap Bubbles, this beautiful series of photo shot by Fabian Oefner, magically capturing soap bubble details that are generally difficult to see with the naked eye. In order to create the patterns of visible color on the otherwise transparent objects, the Swiss photographer placed light and refractors around the bubbles to capture the full spectrum of their iridescent glow. As for the shooting the ephemeral explosion, a purpose-built high speed flash unit is required, about a couple of hundred photos and some persistence.
