No, you haven’t had too much to drink; nor has this building been warped with a bit of photo trickery. This irregularly-shaped building, called Krzywy Domek, is a shopping center in Sopot, Poland. Its name translates in to English as the Crooked House. Designed by SzotyÅ„scy & Zaleski, the multipurpose building boasts a unique look that was inspired by the fairy tale illustrations of Jan Marcin Szancer and Per Dahlberg. The building has been likened to a child’s drawing that has been squashed and a cartoon fun house. Others say it looks as if it is melting. Ever since it was finished, the Crooked House has become Poland’s most photographed building, which is totally understandable. Such unique and fun-looking building! [source].
