Inspired by popup books, Tel Aviv-based designer Chen Bikovski created two unusual folded lamps that turn into deer and peacocks when illuminated. According to Bikovski, “The idea behind Popup Lighting was to create a permanent light fixture that would bring a magical ambiance to any space. A multi-dimensional light that would inspire the senses and ignite the imagination.”

This is not the first time we mentioned about the lamp design making use of shadow, personally, I more like the cardboard trophy deer head we mentioned before. However, that is still a concept design and this one is ready for purchase. Hence, if you want to have a simple but playful light fixtures can enhance the ambiance of the room, this is probably a good choice.
