In this post, I will introduce an interesting project from Michael Paulus. He decided to take a select few of some popular cartoon characters and render their skeletal systems as he imagine they might resemble if one truly had eye sockets half the size of its head, or fingerless-hands, or feet comprising 60% of its body mass.

These days, swine flu is a hot word everywhere. Personally, I don’t think it is a big deal. Every year, there are around 36000 people died due to flu in US. Why we overreact to this “flu”? And actually some cartoonists have the same ideas like me…. They either make fun of the overreaction of media or try to use some funny way to present it so it is not that horrible.

This cartoon by Peter Brookes at TimesOnline shows Gordon Brown (top left) and members of his government wearing masks (to protect them from swine flu). They are trying to speak but can only utter unrecognizable sounds because of the masks. A pig in the final panel comments “Every cloud … !”
“Every cloud has a silver lining”. There is something good even in an unpleasant situation. The cartoonist jokes that one of the positive points of the swine flu outbreak is that we won’t have to listen to what the members of the government are saying.
