Tesla Christmas tree 2009 [link]

Santa keeps current thanks to Peter Terren’s 30 foot Tesla Christmas Tree; it was shot by rotating a rod atop a Tesla coil while switching color filters. It still uses a long exposure and a rotating colored filter but the tree shape is outlined by sparks from a rotating rod on top of the Tesla coil. This gives the “Eye of Sauron” effect. Imagine then if that rotating rod is able to be raised from horizontal to vertical while still rotating.

Even there is one more month, but I can already smell the coming holiday season…and as routine… we have to prepare the Christmas card and decorations for the website.

Just collect some useful graphics, Christmas tree, snow ball, candle … in PNG forward with transparent background. Actually, pretty good quality and nice touch. According to the author, contact before using for commercial reason, free for personal and study reason.

Recently, company want to design some Christmas Card for client and email…So, I am designing a bunch of Christmas Related background. Trees, Balls, Stars, all in xmas. I will present some of them which I am most satisfied. Of course, that still need to be finalized by company.

Changing, changing, it seems like a destination of designer…. at least for me….n_n
