Not sure in which place matches still be widely used in the daily life. In my memory, it is a dangerous but attractive game when I was a child. I really enjoy the moment when it lights up and imagine myself is the little girl in the story. However, with the development of technology, I haven’t seen it or used for a long time. I thought it would be eliminated from our life. But apparently, people still loved those old-fashioned tool and just gave it a new birth. Then, we got our today’s topic – 10 Interesting Design Inspired by Matches.

What a creative idea! Calendar made of matches. Designed by Yurko Gutsulyak, each page is a month and it looks like a comb made of matches that correspond to the days. The matches are real and the construction of the calendar is absolutely safe.

Kind of a reminder that time goes really fast… Just like enlightening the match.

I am a “tea” person…tea is my regular drinks. Compared with tea bag, I preferred loose tea. While today, I got a new sample of tea bag, it is the most elegant tea bag I ever saw (“Tea Forte”, you will find its picture in the middle part of the post). Not very special taste, but definitely great in visual design. Hence, I spent few hours search on internet, to see is there any special tea bag design. Due to the cost, paper quality and print limitation, I barely see eye-catching advertisement design on newspaper and never thought I would see anything good. However, these two McDonalds ads I came cross today, changed my mind totally. Not sure is how long these ads have been promoted, the design are pretty smart from my view. Just convince me again, sometimes, a clever idea can make up lots of things and brighten you eyes.
