With the pressure of increasing intense on our environment, lots of environment friendly projects, architectures and designs have been created. And I can foresee more and more those sustainable designs will be come up and come true. Today, we will feature another incredible proposal “Plastic paradise – CGI images show how a team of Dutch scientists plan to take 44 million kilos of plastic waste currently bobbing around in the Pacific Ocean and transform it into Recycled Island“.
“Green” is advocated these days. Hence, some manufactures try to use some natural, traditional package materials instead of widely used synthetic material.
In this post, I am going to present you with some package design made of natural material, such as bamboo, paper, wooden, Lotus Leaf, straw. Those material are not only eco-conscious but also give us a fresh feeling. For the rest of package designs presented here are trying to imitate nature, like using some flower, fruit elements to give us a sense of closing nature.

It is said “Used carpet and rugs generate around 2.6 million tons of waste per year”. But what an old carpet , worn rugs or outdated carpet samples can do? Only end up in waste bin? Believe me, after reading the post, you will find you can make something useful and beautiful with upcycled materials.

When I talk about recycled art, I am not going that extreme like artist Nick Demarco from California College, to put a sofa filled with rubbish at home.
I still hope the recycled items have decent looking and without weird smell.

Toilet rolls sprouting spreading branches are hung to create a “forest” hanging on the wall or hanging down from the ceiling. There is a moment when the hanging cut-out-parts start holding their branches and leaves on their own strength.
