The Formula 1 for this year is to begin this Saturday…As a loyal F1 fan, I made this post of 10 creative Formula 1 Car Replica/Recreation. You can see some impressive recreation of Formula 1 Car, for example, the one made by 956,000 Matchsticks, 22 types of bread or 4,405lbs chocolate. The Styrofoam looks with great details and the ice sculpture is also pretty “cool” (in both way.) However, my favorite one is Lego Car(sorry, I can’t control my fond of Lego…).

Artist Terry Border is one of those people who holds a secret gift. With some bent Wire, he takes boring, everyday objects and make them come alive. The most part I like about his work is it can be enjoyed by everyone. Young or old, we can all get a good chuckle out of his hilarious, bent objects.

When I first saw the picture, I scratched my head and thought “what the hell is that? A new type of balloon?” Then I found out those sculptures are actually made by by sticking bits of tape together in a “free-form” style or by wrapping them around objects which are then removed from the piece. Other some other materials, such as as wire, cardboard and paint, can be used to support or enhance it.

Honestly, I am really interested how those artists work with the sticky tapes and turned it into life-size sculptures. That is just amazing!

Who says knitting is easy? Just check Shauna Pichardson’s work. In her hands, crochet is a wonderfully expressive medium. It is hard to believe those lively bear, rabbit, monkey, lion and so on are made by knitting. I have no idea how long it will take to make one. However, one thing is for sure, those crochet works are amazing!
