Water cake? Cake made by water? Of course not! It is a special cake made by clear and jiggly Japanese dessert that looks exactly like a huge drop of water. And now,it has a more adorable version – in the shape of a sleeping cat!
Created by Twitter user @mithiruka, this cat water cake was created on the base of a recipe for water cake and a silicon mold bought from a MUJI store.
Basically, this cake is made from water and agar, and can be shaped into different shapes with different mold. Honestly, these cakes do look adorable. But I am not quite sure why call it cake since it looks like a jelly to me anyway. And if you look at the wiki of arar, it clearly says it is a jelly-like substance. In that way, if you say it is a jelly instead of cake, then you shouldn’t feel that special right? However, that is just my personal option. Now, let’s take a look at these pretty “Water Cake” – cat water cake, rose water cake and original drop shape water cake.
