Shadow art might not be something new to our readers. We have featured many forms of shadow art on Deignswan and today we will love to present you with another creative set of drawings which make use of shadow.
Combining a love for comic strips with a bit of creativity, Belgian filmmaker Vincent Bal created quick doodles incorporating shadows have become an unexpected creative outlet. By using a variety of objects, Bal is able to find a form within the shadow cast, use his imagination then pen to fill in what is missing. Thanks to Bal’s keen eye as a filmmaker, he is able to play with both the positive and negative space of the shadows and work out the perfect character to fit within it.
