Artist Terry Border is one of those people who holds a secret gift. With some bent Wire, he takes boring, everyday objects and make them come alive. The most part I like about his work is it can be enjoyed by everyone. Young or old, we can all get a good chuckle out of his hilarious, bent objects.

Not sure are you a chess lover… but my father is . Even though he doesn’t play that well but he does like to collect various chess sets.He has lots of collection, from the normal wooden one to the stone, glass, steel and even jade…When I am looking for some present for his birthday, I came cross some interesting chess set. They either have some special material or use some special characters to represent pieces. The first four designs are from an exhibition for 49th edition of Milan furniture fair. Those artists infused their own interpretation of the board game in real dimensions.

Last year, I once introduced some photo-realistic pencil drawing from Paul Lung. I was really impressed by his portrait and cat drawing. Today, I will continue present some work from him, some wild animal and of course, his favorite pet – cat. By looking at those drawings…It is still hard for me to believe 0.5 mm technical pencil and A2 paper are the only attributes of these masterpieces. Any way, let’s enjoy!

This is a planter and a fishtank. You put your regularly potted plant in this pot on top, and a goldfish on the bottom. What could they provide for eachother, you might ask? Waste! Yes, the fishes turn their eaten bait remnants into nutrients for the plant, while the water fed to the plant is filtered as it passes though and becomes clean for the fish. It is a totally natural and lovely system.
