Due to the bad weather and my non-stop coughing… I stuck at the home whole day. Space exploration is always a heating and attractive topic. Kids like me grew up with “Star War” always have some fancy dream about the life in space. But apparently, dream is still dream, the same as those concept design from NASA. While back to 70s, a couple of space colony summer studies were conducted at NASA Ames that planed to house about 10,000 people. A number of artistic renderings of the concepts were made. And if you look at those renderings, you will find: “em, those pictures look familiar, I remember see this one in xxx scientific movie.”

Today, the 2010 winter torch relay just passed my city. It is the first time that I have a close look of the torch. It looks more elegant than I thought and just raised my interest of the past torch designs. Back to 1936, torch is only a functional torch, doesn’t have a lot designing element.
