World’s First 3D-milled Ice Cube by Suntory

Using a technology called “computer numerical control(CNC)” – carving machines take a design fed in by a computer and then use sharp tools to whittle a block of material such as wood or metal into the designated form, Japanese creative agency TBWA\Hakuhodo create a series of stunning ice cubes for Japanese whiskey company Suntory as part of a novel advertising campaign. The campaign is called “3d on the Rocks“, which created 15 cubes featuring such designs as a shark, the Statue of Liberty, the diamond ring and the temple. These are said to be the world’s first 3D-milled ice cubes, which looks super realistic with an astounding level of detail. It must be cool to pull whisky or any cold beverage over these miniature ice cube sculptures.

Tissue Paper Animal in Life: Creative Stop Motion for Japanese Paper Company

This unbelievable stop motion was created by Japanese ad agency Dentsu for Japanese paper manufacturer Nepia, which featuring a cavalcade of animals folding directly from tissue paper. Nepia tries to show their dedication to creating sustainable forests by giving lives of forest animals using tissue paper. Our understanding is that “Paper comes from trees while cutting trees make forest animal homeless. Hence we need to create sustainable forests to make sure those animals can live properly. That’s why those paper animal are alive in video”. Not sure is that the right explanation for the commercial. But if you only enjoy it purely like a stop motion animation, it is pretty awesome. Birds, dogs, kangaroos, frogs, etc, those tissue animals are such vividly alive in the video. Human Motorcycles: Stunning Body Paint Art

To promote the Progressive International Motorcycle Show, advertising and branding studio i.d.e.a. created a series of human motorcycles from the contorted bodies of yoga experts and circus performers. The idea behind this series is to combine the art of the motorcycle with true art, thereby elevating the ads to something people would want to look at, enjoy, and share. A team of yoga experts, circus performers ,flexible dancers and body paint artist Trina Mery work together, created a speed bike, cruiser, and dirt bike to be ridden by the Progressive International Motorcycle Show’s host, Erin Bates.
