The benefits of doing yoga has been wildly spread out and it seems like not only human beings get it, animals as well. And there are several yoga stars we have spotted in the animal kingdom. If you look at below photos, you might agree with me that they can actually do their yoga postures even better than us. Of course, they don’t really know about yoga and those gestures just how they do when they are playing or stretching. However, with the photos taken at the right moment, certainly we have a lot animals actively participate this healthy exercise.
These stunning black-and-white images were taken by French photographer Laurent Baheux who has been documenting the majestic wildlife of Africa, highlighting the animals’ beauty and strength for the past 13 years. In Baheux’s photos, these animals are not faceless beasts, but individuals with their own intelligence, experiences, and dignity. You can see them in a rare moment of peace and rest, or gazing directly into the camera. Both beautiful and inspiring, the images of these animals encourage viewers to not only appreciate their aesthetic appeal, but to also take action to preserve and protect wildlife around the world. There are more than 300 black-and-white images collected in Baheux’s new book “The Family Album of Wild Africa” where he celebrates the soul and individuality of the vast continent’s fauna, revealing all of their vulnerability while losing nothing of their raw vitality. Let’s take a close look to those creatures through Baheux’s eyes.
If there is the most adorable daycare in the world, the “panda daycare’ in the Chengdu Research Base (China) might be the one. This panda “daycare” is actually a specialized breeding center and nursery that seeks to breed new pandas to revitalize the dwindling wild population, which may be as small as 1,864. It is very difficult to get panda to breed. Females panda are able to breed for only 2-3 days a year, and they only give birth to one cub every two years. Hence, each panda cub is very precious. Let’s hope the panda daycare can help to improve this breed’s situation.
Pink, the color which the sweetness and softness might not be a color at all. In some scientists’ views, pink is not a real wavelength of light, it is just a product of our wishful brains blending red and violet wavelengths together. However, pink does exist in most of girls eyes and pink color animals are called “pretties” animal by some people. Here, we are not going to argue whether pink existed or not. We just want to show you some beautiful pictures of pink-color (you might call these shades of magenta, fuchsia, coral or rose) animals. They have really amazing and adorable looking! Yes, even grasshopper is cute in pink.
