Every little boy or girl loves to play with toys, however there comes a point in time when life takes over and all those much loved toys get lost in the attic. UK-based artists duo EViL ED and Dan Robotic of Evil Robot Designs try to save those toys by sculpting stunning lamps with them. These lamps are wither made from well-known action figures or customized to every client’s memories using their own toys. From bunny girl Suzumiya Haruhi surrounded by Hasbro’s Transformers, spaceships and robots to DC Comics’ Batman helping iconic Marvel heroes and villains, these lamps struggle to remain part of this wonderful world of creative playfulness and give a stylish and functional touch to your deco as well. Would you like to have a lamp like these? [source].

When I was a little girl, a music box with a little fairy in the middle was one of my favorites. Always be amazed by the little spinning figures and the beautiful melody coming out from that little box. And nowadays, music boxes are designed not only for children, but for grown ups too. Besides those cartoon styled ones, they are also combined with jewelry box, or work like a piece of unique decoration. Hence, if you are trying to look for a unique gift idea that’s beautiful to the eyes and a delight to the ears, this post is for you.

This beautiful tea house was designed by by Archi-Union Architects, a Shanghai base studio and located in the backyard of Archi-Union Architects’ office in Shanghai, China. The design tries to embody harmony by integrating enclosure and openness, delightful space and logical construction and other complicated relations. The design is around the tree, which is divided into three parts. A covered public area is formed towards the open space with the pool, with an enclosed tea house at ground level and library on the first floor where a small triangular balcony extends around the existing tree. Other more private spaces exist such as a lounge, reading room and service room which are arranged towards the rear of the building. It is indeed a unique tea house and really like the design to embrace tree inside the architecture. [source]

Spring is here finally. It is the time to give your home a fresh looking and add some spring smell. “Bloom My Buddy”, the person-shaped vases, created by Niels van Eijk and Miriam van der Lubbe allow to create endless number of original creations with flowers, leaves and stems! These incredibly funny flower vases are not only vases, but also toys for those who are not yet fully-bye to childhood, and still loves to create outfits for the dolls, pets, and their children. They do look playful but I kindly worry about the water part. Does the vase need to hold water? Or it is just a simply flower arrangement piece. You just simply spray water on the flower and hope it can last longer….? [source]
