Designed by Eun Ah Kim, Jinhyuk Rho & Maria Rho, “Off” is a door handle with connections to your mains like gas supply and electricity. Simply switch off both or either one of the services by rotating the dial and flip it back to activate it all. With “Off” we don’t need to keep locking and opening the door to check before we leave. Sounds great, just wonder, where the handler should be installed? And how we make sure only the family members have the rights to turn things off. Since you definitely don’t want a prankster or and intruder turn off your utilities, includes your security system, from outside. It’s better work with key or password![source]
Designed by three students (Kun-hee Kim, Kei Shimizu & Nguyen-vu Dang) at the Kobe Design University of Japan, LEDoorHandle integrates an LED light that glows in the dark, acting as a guide to finding the door in case of blackouts, where you can also grab the handle, take it off the door, and use it as a flash light to walk in dark.
