Magical Land: Breathtaking Infrared Landscapes Photography by David Keochkerian

Infrared photography is a unique form of photography that can be achieved using a special camera or by a lens-cap filter. By this way, all the light, except the infrared waves is blocked out; thus giving the image a dreamlike appearance and works very well with foliage and landscape photographs. For us, infrared photography is endlessly captivating. And thanks to photographer like David Keochkerian, we can enjoy more and more IR (Infrared) photographs. Different from Netsounski’s Infrared Winter Wonderland we featured before, Keochkerian’s collection depicts several landscapes in an almost alien variety of color combinations.

Winter Wonderland: Beautiful Infrared Photography by Maria Netsounski

Infrared Photography is capturing invisible light that shows incredible after effects. Basically speaking you are simply blocking out visible light while letting the invisible light come inside the camera lens. In this series entitled IR, Netsounski snaps shots of tropical hotspots (no pun intended) and, using infrared technology, distorts the colors in a beautiful way. Vivid shades of green and yellow are muted in the photos, while retaining a strong blue tone. What’s left is a striking combination of icy whites and blues. This creates such a surreal output, just like a fairy tale winter wonderland with topical plants and environment around. Amazing!
