Bulgarian-born artist Christo Dagorov tried to give his answer by making the lips a canvas for a variety of surreal images, from landscapes to melanges of bodies to circuitry. Faces on Faces: Funny Lip Art Creations by Laura Jenkinson

London based makeup artist Laura Jenkinson uses her chin as a canvas, paints famous and familiar cartoon characters on her lips and around her mouth, using face paint and traditional cosmetics. Her paintings include The Cookie Monster, Shrek and Taz the Tasmanian Devil and feature in a series of Instagram images. Despite the images looking painstakingly accurate, Laura says that her method of achieving the look is incredibly simple. As she said “I find a picture and then just hold it up to the mirror as a guide and draw straight onto my face – it’s easier than you think!”. Creepy Halloween Lip Makeup by Eva Pernas

If a cool costume is not enough for your beloved Halloween, you got to check the spooky but creative Halloween-themed lip makeup art created by Spanish makeup artist and photographer Eva Senín Pernas. By applying her ingenious art skills she makes lips look creepy, mysterious and glamorous at the same time. When asked why Eva started to paint her lip, she said “This whole crazy thing started (believe me or not) while I was seeing the movie Grease, I saw the final scene with that red and silver car and I decided to paint my lips with those silver lightnings.” Take a look at some favorite pieces we select below, and you can find more on her Deviantart page.
