Another wonderful nature inspired design. These beautiful night lamps are created by a team of Lithuanian artists. And below is how they describe their glory lamp.
Explorers is who we are. Night lamps is what we seek. Never before documented, discovered in wild northern forests these glowing specimens are just waiting to be gazed upon.
…Or at least we would like you to think so. We don’t just come around these magical specimens, each of them requires scrupulous work.
We are a group of Lithuanian artists who use hand-picked crystals and minerals, fallen tree timber and tree mushrooms to make one of a kind night lamps. With white LEDs, we light the crystals which later can be powered by your computer, power bank or any wall socket using a USB port.
These night lamps are widely known for their hypnotizing abilities, may cause sleepiness if observed while alight during night time. Active use causes dramatic increase in imagination levels. No need to use with caution.

Blue, purple, black, various colors and shapes, fungi’s world is more attractive than flowers for some people but the only problem is they are too humble to be in the spotlight. But thanks to the people like Steve Axford (previously) who use their cameras to bring the magical world of fungi in front of our eyes. Axford lives and works in the Northern Rivers area of New South Wales in Australia where he often has to travel no further than his own “back yard” to make some of the discoveries you see here. And Axford believe that some of the mushrooms he finds may never have been documented by scientists before!
Mushrooms, as one of the most favorite subject of macro photographers looks even attractive under Martin Pfister’s camera. By lighting them up behind with tiny colorful LED bulbs, Pfister successfully give those little fungi a magic glow. With perfect angle and surrounding setting, those mushroom looks so pretty, making you think you are looking at a fairy tale land. Like those awesome photos, take a look at Pfister’s 500px page and find more.
In today’s post, I will list 10 beautiful but toxic mushroom…Some of them looks really delicious but don’t even think of eating them… [source]
1. BRAIN MUSHROOM [link]
The Gyromitra esculenta, which is also known as a false morel or brain mushroom (given its convoluted surface), can be deadly when consumed raw. Although some in Spain, Sweden and other countries continue to cook and eat them, G. esculenta is suspected to be moderately toxic. Unlike many other poisonous mushrooms, the Gyromitra genus often causes neurological symptoms—including comas—as well as gastrointestinal indications.
