Stunning Origami Animal Created Folded by Gonzalo García Calvo

Although Madrid-based origami enthusiast Gonzalo García Calvo is a professional musician in daytime, his spare time is fully occupied by paper folding. Using a variety of different techniques and papers, the talented origami enthusiast is able to fold various animals, objects, and even a few sci-fi figures. Those designs are so intricate and beautiful that it’s hard to believe that they’re folded out of only one piece of paper. Too bad the artist doesn’t include a video showing how he brings paper into life. We can only enjoy the static images for now. Take a look at below my favorite collection and find more on his flickr page.

Gorgeous Paper Wedding Dresses by Asya Kozina

The creative designer behind “Baroque Paper Wigs” and “Paper Wedding Dress” just brought us four new sets of wedding dresses created for the an underwear brand. Traditionally, wedding suit should hide the bride from the groom in almost all the cultures. In some countries it closes not only the body but also the face completely. During the project, Asya Kozina was required to create some paper dressing that did not offend the sensibilities of culture bearers and not seem vulgar and unaesthetic in combination with underwear. The result is quite conventional but eye-catching as well. Find more paper artwork on Asya Kozina’s site.
