Amusing Street Art by Caiffa Cosimo

Italian street artist Caiffa Cosimo, creates a fantastic series of street art murals that interact with their surroundings, seeming to leap off of the walls and invade our world in an amusing and mischievous way. Depicting such images as a round-faced man pouring paint on the ground, an attractive woman lifting the sidewalk to sip the liquid beneath, and a mustachioed man continuing the lines of the crosswalk with a paint roller.

Trash and Found Object Murals by “Bordalo II”

By using mounds of discarded plastic sheeting, old tires, shingles, and tangles of electrical cable, artist Bordalo II carefully form towering 3D murals of animals on the streets of Lisbon, Portugal. His original technique consists of sticking rubbish pieces to a wall as a collage in the shape of an animal to then spray some paint to complete the piece. Curious rabbits, toucans, raccoon and even feathered hummingbirds are all part of this project to raise awareness on the amount of stuff we throw away. See more of Bordalo II’s work on his facebook page.
