It’s clever of us to hide socket boards behind furniture and out-of-sight places, however plugging up lamps or devices is another story altogether! The more perfect we hide those sockets, the more difficult we can align the plug prongs. The DONUT outlet has a donuts-shaped hole in the middle instead of two small holes. I have an objection to this device. What if I accidentally put in the plug so both of the pins at the same time touch both electrodes? By your design this could easily happen. My advice, don’t play with electricity, if you don’t understand it.
i like the idea of any angle being possible, but i don’t want to worry about whether or not the plug on my device has a ground pin or not. my computer doesn’t and some other devices that might need charging, but all of the outlets in my house do accommodate grounded plugs. i’d have concerns about being limited to just 2 prongs. my boyfriend lives in a much older house where all the outlets were just 2 prong and only some of them have been upgraded to 3. it’s actually a pain in the butt to not be able to plug in anything anywhere. i don’t remember if it’s the camera plug or the alarm clock or something else that’s 3 prongs, but it is something small and simple that i travel with, not something like dad’s bi-pap or oxygen concentrator. since this seems to just be for 2 prongs that would mean that inevitably i’d end up with something that takes 3 and not be able to plug it in where i wanted even w this device.
