Slime Mold wiki

Most slime mold are smaller than a few centimeters, but the very largest reach areas of up to thirty square meters, making them the largest undivided cells known. Many have striking colors such as yellow, brown and white.

My word those are magnificent images, you may have just inspired the final art piece for my latest module. What sort of a lens would you need to get such crisp photos?

Just a note, the majority of these pictures are the fruiting bodies (similar to a fruting body of a mushroom) and not the vegetative body of the slime mold itself.
