Ever looked at the alphabet and thought a letter form would make a stylish vase? That is precisely the inspiration behind this creative project by Studio GetIt!

Every year, designers and artists around the globe jump into 36 Days of Type. It is a massive open call challenging creators to design one letter or number each day for 36 consecutive days. The project showcases the endless graphic possibilities of letterforms, proving just how many fresh perspectives can bring the exact same symbols to life.

For this series, Studio GetIt pushed creative boundaries by pairing functional product design with the boundless freedom of 3D rendering. The final concept? A collection of sculptural CGI typography vases.

Rather than treating letters as flat shapes, Studio GetIt reimagined each character from A to Z and 0 to 9 as a tactile, functional object holding vibrant flowers and greenery. From translucent glass forms to terrazzo-textured curves and bold geometric stacks, every letterform functions as a standalone piece of modern art.

Using CGI allowed for limitless experimentation with quirky textures, glossy surfaces, and dramatic lighting. The result is a fresh, playful typography experiment where industrial design meets digital artwork.

Transforming basic letterforms into whimsical CGI typography vases turned the daily challenge of 36 Days of Type into an inspiring visual showcase. Take a look at the complete set above—which letter or number vase belongs on the living room shelf?
