How did they make that happen? As usual, the key here is pull-out furniture and parts of the apartment that can fill three or four functions. Take the bathtub as example. It’s directly across the room from the television. When used as a bathtub, there’s a waterproof screen that can be mechanically lowered from the ceiling for privacy. But, when guests come over, the top can be covered with wooden slats and turned into an extra, tiered sofa. So it can be used as extra sitting area or a bed for stay-over guest.
