Pantene, a brand dedicates to helping adults achieve thick, luscious hair found her perfect spokespeople – baby Chanco who born with a “brilliant bouffant” of dark locks that look like the hair of a much older person. While most babies eventually lose the soft fuzz they’re born with, Chanco has retained her amazing hairdo and even needed her first trim when she was just six months old.

With over 350,000 Instagram followers, Chanco now is the new face of Pantene Japan hair products. When asked why made such decision, Yoshiaki Okura, P&G Japan Hair Care Associate Brand Director said “We feel [Chanco’s] beautiful hair has strong power that makes people positively move forward”. Pantene shared Chanco’s advertising debut on On January 7, 2019. She is pictured alongside Japanese television announcer Sato Kondo, a woman known for her gorgeous gray hair. According to Okura, the ad is geared towards women who “want to be positive and make a new start through their hair.”
