I am planing to buy an apartment these days. But it turns out really difficult to buy an affordable and nice place in a large city. They either insanely expensive or just too far away from where I work. It seems like the best choice for me is to get a small place but make full use of every corner of it. Hence, I began to search some small apartment designs and try to get some inspiration. I will continually post what I find and share with someone who has the same need as me.
The apartment in in post is about 43 square meters. All furniture was custom made from a local producer. There are plenty of lockers, shelves and cabinets around, so that takes good care of storage space, making everything look very clean and tidy around the apartment. The most part I like this room is the shelving unit which separates the sleeping area from the “living” area. That is a really smart and tasteful idea. [via]
