Suren Manvelyan, the featured photographer in this post, is actually a PhD in Theoretical Physics specializing in Quantum Chaos. Manvelyan became professional photographer at 2006 and recently turned his attention to photographing the amazing detailed landscapes of eyes. Manvelyan has also documented in astonishing detail the Human Eye and now, similarly, the animal eye. With such close-up photos, one is even able to see details such as the irises’ color gradients, textures, patterns and even tiny blood vessels, which somehow makes those eyes look like alien planet for me.
