Ever wished you take that hot date on trip to Wonderland? You know, the place with those crazies that Alice got sucked into? Well if you happen to be in Tokyo any time soon you can. Designed by Eiichi Maruyama and Katsunori Suzuki of FDW, toying with the fantasies of Alice in Wonderland, a restaurant in Tokyo combines playful graphics with dramatic designs that are sure to indulge diners’ imaginations.
The 228 sq m space is divided into themed sections that reflect scenes from the 1951 animated film. From Trompe-l’œil art to a mirror wall and fantasy forest, the bespoke furnishings translated historic 2D animated scenes into 3D interior design. Completing with custom made heart shaped chandelier and table, playing card tables and its own forest, there’s even Cheshire Cat tail pizza slices on the menu. We have to say this one of the cooler restaurants we’ve seen lately and there’s no doubt we would eat here. [source]
