Welcome back to my series on award-winning design from iF kids / babies category! Last time we looked at a great desk, but today we’re going back to the very beginning of the parenting journey.

We all owe a huge thanks to IKEA for making transformable child furniture a household staple. They showed us how much sense it makes for products to have a second life. Today, I want to introduce you to a stunning evolution of that idea: Changy by Mamatoyz, designed by MUCA Studio. This iF Design winner is a total game-changer for new parents who want style without sacrificing space.

At first glance, Changy is a sleek, ergonomic baby changing table. The design is beautiful and minimal, featuring a secure top tray and two spacious open shelves to keep diapers and lotions organized. It looks like a high-end piece of modern decor, not just a utility item.

But here is the “magic” part: once the diaper days are over, you don’t have to sell it or hide it in the garage. Changy effortlessly transforms. By simply separating the two main sections, the bottom half becomes a sturdy little chair, and the top half becomes the perfect height for an activity table. It’s a seamless transition from a nursery essential to a creative zone for play and learning.

I love that this child furniture is built for longevity. It saves you money and floor space by eliminating the need for two separate pieces. It’s a brilliant example of why this iF Design winner deserves our attention—it’s sustainable, practical, and honestly just looks great.
