Stanislav Aristov, talented photographer and I.T. specialist created below amazing tiny sculptures using only fire and spent matches. It all started when Stanislav entered a photo competition in Russia, unable to come up with an idea he struck a match before noticing the incredible patterns formed in the carbon of the used wood – and so the match art was born. Since then Aristov has gone on to fashion some amazing sculptures such as butterfly, caterpillar, boat and even Eiffel tower. It’s a perfect combination of light staging, technical tricks and of course, Photoshop. So glad to see some usual object turned out can be presented in a very unusual ways. So jump into the post and check these really interesting pictures; and you can see more on his gallery at 500px. [source]
