Christopher Boffoli’s Disparity series takes the art of Macro photography and spices up his subjects by adding in tiny miniature people doing various activities, adding a wonderfully surreal, fun feel to all his pieces. Boffoli has always been interested in size disparity and a juxtaposition of scales between people and things ever since he owned a tiny model train world as a kid. He said. “There is in some part a god-like feeling to having command of an entire world, which you can rearrange at any capricious whim.” Its really awesome that it looks like he’s having fun telling a story with every image.
