Tesla Christmas tree 2009 [link]
Santa keeps current thanks to Peter Terren’s 30 foot Tesla Christmas Tree; it was shot by rotating a rod atop a Tesla coil while switching color filters. It still uses a long exposure and a rotating colored filter but the tree shape is outlined by sparks from a rotating rod on top of the Tesla coil. This gives the “Eye of Sauron” effect. Imagine then if that rotating rod is able to be raised from horizontal to vertical while still rotating.
We all know it’s that time of year, when Santa comes around and every brand puts him up on their ad to help sell more, here is a good selection I made of Christmas ads to get the spirit going. In this post, you can see how different companies conveyed the message for their products or services for the Christmas Season. For me it is pretty interesting to see even the detergent and Chainsaw company are trying to dress their products in Christmas costume and make them seasoning.

Paul Smith’s ‘Photograph’ collage bag, and as you can see, it’ll make you look like you’re carrying around pretty much everything but the kitchen sink, including books, cameras, a globe… It’s very cleverly done, and the kind of thing that makes us want to keep looking, but, being the neat-freaks that we are, we’re not sure we’d want to actually carry it around with us.
I guess, thief must be confused at sight of this bag, probably don’t how to get things out.
