Andrea Martin is an international award-winning children’s portrait photographer in Beaver, West Virginia. Being a mother of four children herself, she has a true passion for photographing children and animals together.
According to Andrea, “There is something magical about the connection between children and animals, so I focus on capturing the innocence of the bond between them.” And from below photos we can see, Andrea does have that kind of instinct to capture the bond. A “vivid, yet almost fairy-tale-like feel” can be easily found on Andrea’s photos.
When asked what makes Andrea’s photos different from others, Andrea said “I have always been an animal person and so combining children with animals just seemed like the perfect combination. I love capturing the love and connection between them. Also I feel like it brings out the innocence of childhood in an image. It makes it timeless.”
