I know many people love frogs and there are actually over 5,000 species of known frogs. Frog species come in a variety of sizes and colors and some of them are extremely poisonous. Personally, I am not a big fan of these jumping creatures. But I have to admit the incredible frog photography by Indonesian wildlife photographer Ajar Setiadi show me a totally new aspect of frogs.

Setiadi has been documenting the mysterious lives of the frogs that live in his garden. Yeah, not some fancy, race species, just normal garden frog. But Setiadi captured some unusual photos to reveal fascinating—and often adorable—behavior of these frogs.

According to Setiadi, “Actually, I have frogs as my pets. Sometimes I play with them in my garden and let them play with the flowers as I am showering my plants.” Sometimes, the frogs naturally interact and pose with the flowers. And when that happens, Setiadi tries to capture their most endearing moments on camera.

It is super adorable to see a frog use flower or leaf as umbrella. What an amazing moment. Besides these frog & plant photos, Setiadi also captured some playful pictures, such as two dancing frogs. There is even one picture of a mantis sitting on top of the frog. I am not sure how that happen. Should frog just eat the mantis?

Below are only part of the frog photography we love mostly. If you want to see more, head over to Setiadi’s Instagram page. There are more amazing wildlife photos of insects, birds, and reptiles.
