You might already heard of Paris-based artist Anastassia Elias who was known for her toilet paper roll sculptures. And today, we will show you another series of her work – “a cup of coffee in Toronto, Canada” which she worked with Starbucks in Canada. Theoretically, it is quite similar to your toilet paper roll work. However, the big top and small bottom shape of a coffee cup provides more depths and a theatrical feel to her work. The bottom of the cups are removed and a light is shone through them, casting dramatic shadows that darken the characters and give them a strong visual presence.
