Located in Kiev, Ukraine, this 77 sq m one bedroom apartment has many distinctive assets that gives it quite bold personality.
The monochrome hexagon tile combines the entrance hall with a bathroom with a single carpet and emphasizes the length of the apartment. A lot of custom built-ins are used in the room to increase the storage and hide the clutters. The first good example is the laundry room, which is located in the entrance area of the bathroom, behind the facades of the built-in closets. Another is the combination space which combines kitchen and bathroom together.
Due to the limited area, there is no dedicated space for kitchen island. But the designer clearly raise the 2 meter length dining table to the level of the working surface of the kitchen. Behind it you can comfortably sit on a bar stool, as well as use it as an auxiliary surface for cooking.
There are also many designing elements we find quite impressive, such like the merge of hexagon tile with the floor, brick wall, wooden bed frame and other industrial design like light fixture and barn door. Looking pretty good right?
