The world becomes crowded and crowded and in densely populated cities, micro-living style becomes more and more popular. To make best use of their real state and meet the needs of market, some minimal and compact apartments are designed. Like the flat in this post, it is original a 150 m2 old flat in Madrid. The owner wants to divide it into three luxury apartments. 50 m2 isn’t that big for an full equipped apartment, especially with the requirement of luxury. To achieve that and minimize the clutter, kitchen and all cabinets attached to the perimeter walls. Those private area like bedroom and bathroom are separated from the main space by glass wall. The only difference is the bedroom uses clear glass while the bathroom uses frosted glass. Would you like to live place like this? For me, it might look nice on the photo, but doesn’t seem quite piratical. I believe I will run out of storage space soon when I do live there. And also, I don’t like the clear glass cube for the bedroom. At least, they should install curtain inside so I can choose to cover/uncover my bedroom.
