Would you ever strut down the street with your hair looking like this? Japanese artist Takaya created these “fresh” hair designs by adding raw vegetables and blossoming flowers to styled hair. The method used to tie together a person and fresh flowers is called Hanayuishi and is part design, part styling, and part floral arranging. Each one-of-a-kind piece is custom-made for the wearer. The designs are worn at weddings and live performances and are not very common to see. I have to say, it is pretty interesting idea, specially the vegetable one. We’re used to seeing flowers in women’s hair, but a bouquet of broccoli, radishes, and bell peppers certainly not something normal to put on the head. [source]
