What’s inside stone? It sounds like a silly question. And in the real life, it is indeed a silly question. However, in Japanese artist Hirotoshi Ito’s surreal world, there are many things can be found inside a river stone. The smooth stones of variable shape and size are each embedded with zippers that open to reveal hidden objects like collections of coins, marbles, berries, gears and even a rather sinister toothy mouth. Okay, I admit the last one is a bit creepy. But I am really impressed with those zipped stone work. How about you?
