Designed by Ippolito Fleitz Group, Loft ESN is a spacious family apartment in Palmscher Park, Esslingen, Germany, transform from an army barracks. As soon as a vistor comes into this 400 square meters area, a wide space opens up along a horizontal and vertical axis. The living area is only separated from the entrance area by an L-shaped filtering curtain. The upper lever is adult domain – parent space. Since the owner wants a special house-in-house construction, a bedroom which no light could permeate at all is built. This almost hermetically sealed room, only retains contact with the outside world via the doors and a curtained passage to a skylight and windows. The ceiling’s warm dark blue and the five fragile spheres of light reminds you of the sky at the night. Same color tone is carried into the master bathroom design. Pretty awesome space for living.
