As a retired person, Steve Axford likes to photograph and explore the world. His interests over everything from micro fungi to volcanoes, though more of his time now is spent with the fungi than the volcanoes. Living in Northern Rivers area of NSW in Australia, where was once a huge area of uninterrupted lowland, subtropical rainforest, Axford spends his time documenting the living world around him.
