This unusual roof park house is located at a vacant lot with a very steep down-slope from the street in Los Angeles. Due to its location and requirement of a parking lot for two cars, Anonymous Architects came up with a daring architecture concept – put the parking lot on top of the living spaces and create an open-air “garage”. It is a logical design due to the steep terrain. With the house floating over the hillside, the structure successfully reduces the amount of foundation required. It also means the only way to access the house is over the bridge, which brings a truly a unusual floating structure. Really smart and daring architecture design.
