No matter you like or not, Picasso‘s abstract artwork is hard to many people to enjoy, at least for me. Maybe I am just an ordinary people and don’t have such capability to understand the beauty under these abstract lines. Hence, I found interesting when I saw someone tried to interpret Picasso paintings into 3D sculptures.

It is an old new but just give you a bit brief. Below three sculptures are created for the Paris Fashion Week Exhibition 2019 by CR Studio who was invited to create a backdrop for the brand ‘The Art’s Sake’. Art director Omar. Aqil decided to recreate Picasso’s figurative portraits into 3D sculptures. And the three portraits Omar. Aqil chose are “Woman in a red armchair”, “Head to the cap” and “Woman in a green hat”. Honestly, without the sculpture version, I can only half understand the “Woman in a green hat” one and totally lost at the first two. I am not sure such detailed interpretation is good or bad. But if you have the same problem of understanding Picasso’s painting, you might give it a try.
