But that is Singapore-based baker Susanne Ng actually does. Instead of conventional cake, Ng makes cute confections that look like squeezable stuffed animals by using chiffon cake.
Most of her baking inspiration comes from the experience of mom, when tide up the floor of her children’s room. From teddy bears to smiling cupcakes, many of her charming creations are modeled after the dolls and plush toys collected by her kids. Ng also accepted customized request from her customers and she really enjoy the challenges of creating different cakes. When asked why choose chiffon cake? Ng said it was not only because of their foam-like, fluffy texture, but for their relatively low-sugar content as well. So you can enjoy the delicious and cute cake and don’t need to worry about too much sugar intake.
