A homophone is a word that is pronounced the same as another word but differs in meaning, origins, or spelling. These words can cause more confusion than we thought and sometimes the result of misunderstanding are quite fun. Bruce Worden, the man behind a blog called Homophones, is really into homophones and even visualize them with illustrations. Bruce uses minimalist illustrations to prove if we just listen and without knowing any context, we couldn’t know if someone is inviting us to a sail or sale.
