Leaf Beast is a project by Japanese artist Baku Maeda who seemingly brings dead leaves back to life and created beautifully simple animal sculptures out of them. Taking advantage of the warped shape and vein structure of dried magnolia leaves, Maeda made only minimal cuts to create each piece. Really simple yet elegant creation.
